Our Prayer Shawl Ministry was started and continues to be led by Kim Leidenroth-Day.  The very first Prayer Shawl was delivered February 12, 2011, and many more have been given since that date.  Those who knit or crochet these beautiful prayer shawls use a special pattern done in threes, to signify the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit. Each Prayer Shawl and the person receiving it is covered with prayer before the gift is given. Our hope is that they will know they are loved and cared for whenever they feel the comfort and warmth of the Prayer Shawl wrap over them.
